An adapter that wouldn't talk is the most useful report — say which one (link the listing), USB or BLE, and what the bay said. Codes missing from the on-page book: send the code and your make, and it gets added. And if your car answered in some strange dialect the parser fumbled, that's a collector's item; the exact text of what came back is gold.
